The Cincinnati Bengals officially report to training camp on July 27th. Before we get to that point, let’s take a stab at what the 53-man roster could look like when the regular season gets underway.

Football is getting closer, my friends. The Cincinnati Bengals report to training camp in a little over a week and that means we’ll have new storylines and new players to discuss.

Until we get to that point, one of the more fun activities we can do is to put together a 53-man roster projection. There isn’t a ton to go off of at this point but hey, that’s part of the fun. Everyone’s 53-man roster projection will look different.

So, with that intro out of the way, let’s look at how the roster could look when all is said and done.

Quarterbacks (2)

  • Joe Burrow
  • Brandon Allen

This is the easiest position to predict. Joe Burrow is obviously going to be the starter barring something unfortunate (knock on wood, please) and Brandon Allen will be his right-hand man. Jake Browning likely lands on the practice squad as a result of not making the roster. Even if he impresses mightily in the preseason, Allen has a firm grasp on the backup job.
