Special Teams (3)

  • Kicker: Evan McPherson
  • Punter: Kevin Huber
  • Long Snapper: Clark Harris

Next to quarterback, special teams is the easiest part of the roster to predict. We’ll have the exact same group as last year with McPherson entering his second season, Huber returning for his 14th season, and Harris also returning for year 14.

Drue Chrisman should get a shot at some point to be the punter of the Bengals but until Huber calls it a career, Chrisman will have to wait. Cal Adomitis was a popular UDFA but, similar to the punter position, until Harris is ready to hang up the cleats, he’ll be the long snapper of the Cincinnati Bengals.

We’ll see what players stand out during training camp and preseason and what kind of movement happens with these position battles. For now, however, this seems like a fairly safe projection for the upcoming season.
