3. Mike Thomas

Entering his seventh season in the NFL, Mike Thomas has more games played (66) than targets (53). The 27-year-old enters training camp as the emergency option if one of the starting wideouts goes down.

The Bengals were incredibly lucky to have Chase, Higgins, and Boyd available and 100% healthy for most of the season. Odds are, the fourth WR on the depth chart will see more time this season. As of this moment, Mike Thomas would be getting those targets.

Getting extra targets in any Joe Burrow offense means an opportunity to produce good numbers. There will be a long line of receivers who make money they shouldn’t be catching footballs in this Bengals offense.

Trent Taylor, Trenton Irwin, and Stanley Morgan Jr. probably won’t challenge Thomas’ spot in camo. But if he is unable to string together consistent camp performances – an outside free agent could ride in as WR #4.

Here is the only touchdown of Mike Thomas’ career.
