5 Bengals who need to have a great training camp in 2022
By Lukas Moore
2. Chris Evans
Would you believe me if I said that Chris Evans is about to be a national media training camp darling?
Yes, Burrow, Chase, Higgins, Boyd, and many others are more important to this team than Evans but Evans will be the fantasy football sleeper on the roster. His value as a handcuff for Joe Mixon could be immense. His receiving ability and the Bengals’ offense itself make for a PPR dream.
He could be one heck of a steal in the later rounds of your fantasy draft.
Evans has the talent to be a #1 RB in the NFL, and he demonstrated that raw ability multiple times in his rookie season.
If Evans can figure out how to become a more effective pass blocker, he should ascend past Samaje Perine and be a dynamic backup/handcuff for Mixon.
