2. Vonn Bell

Coming off of a great season in 2021, Vonn Bell will be coming in with huge expectations for himself. This is due partially to the new additions from the draft at the safety position as well as it being the final year of his contract so he has to show how much he is worth to the franchise.

With the season set to start soon, Bell will be looking to continue to be a huge playmaker on the field. The combination of Bell and Jessie Bates in 2022 should instill fear into opposing offensive coordinators and offensive players.

The Bengals drafted two safeties in this year’s draft, which has many fans questioning which safety of the duo will be re-signed and which will be seen in another uniform. These new guys that were brought in have the automatic advantage because they are automatically cheaper to have on the roster and have age on their side.

For someone like Bell, this means he will have to show out both physically and mentally proving why he is the veteran of the group. He is very skilled at his position and fans should expect another good year from him. Look for him to have improved his cover skills while still being the dominant run stuffer he is.

The question now remains, who will be the Bengals safeties in 2023?
