The Cincinnati Bengals will have to trim their roster down to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Here’s our live roster cuts tracker to keep you in the loop.
Who will earn a coveted spot on the Bengals initial 53-man roster in 2022? These players gave it their all but ultimately came up short. Roster cuts are an inevitable part of any sports team and hopefully fans don’t shed too many tears over today’s losses. Check out the live list below.
Jake Browning, QB
Despite enjoying a better preseason than Brandon Allen, Browning will be on the prowl for a QB-needy team in 2022. At the very least, Browning poses as a strong practice squad candidate and could stay in Cincinnati for the upcoming season.
Kendric Pryor, WR
Kwamie Lassiter II, WR
The pair of UDFAs who enjoyed productive preseasons ultimately didn’t make the cut. Both Pryor and Lassiter showed promise in the Bengals’ offense, and fans should keep an eye out for both these players potentially landing on the practice squad.
Tyler Shelvin, DT
Cal Adomitis, LS
Jacques Patrick, RB
Another preseason standout who could end up on the Bengals’ practice squad, which is where he spent the entire 2020 season. It was fourth-year back Trayveon Williams who made the cut to win the RB4 role.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor on RB Trayveon Williams, who makes the initial 53-man roster: "Trayveon has earned it. I like the direction that he's heading."

Drue Chrisman, P
Veteran Kevin Huber came out on top of this uber-competitive punter battle, though Chrisman put up a good fight. Wishing Chrisman nothing but the best.
Nick Eubanks, TE
Mike Thomas, WR
Thomas was cut on Tuesday, but expect him to return to Cincinnati shortly.
The cut of WR Mike Thomas is roster gymnastics. Expectation is to sign m him back tomorrow once they move players to IR-return.

Had to cut a vested veteran to avoid him being subject to waivers. https://t.co/GAjGzaTN5o
Trayvon Henderson, S
Noah Spence, DE
Devin Cochran, OT
Domenique Davis, DE
Lamont Gaillard, OL
The Bengals’ O-line ranked as one of the worst units this preseason, so it’s no surprise that so many offensive linemen are getting released.
Nate Gilliam, OL
Clarence Hicks, LB
Delonte Hood, CB
UDFA Allan George secured a cornerback spot on the roster instead. Good for him.
Trenton Irwin, WR
Raymond Johnson III, DE
Keandre Jones, LB
Following the releases of Hicks and Jones, linebacker Clay Johnston has made the initial 53-man roster. Johnston’s spectacular preseason clearly didn’t go unnoticed.
