During the Marvin Lewis Golf Classic, Bengals Kicker Mike Nugent spoke on Jim Tressel and Ohio State. Because of the recent resignation of Tressel, Joe Reedy of the Enquirer posted up these quotes. Recently Bengals Defensive Tackle, Tank Johnson was interviewed on XM Radio. During the interview the inevitable topic that every Bengal is being faced with is asked Carson Palmer. And on a surprising note, he’s another player who subscribes to the “If he doesn’t want to be here, don’t bring the negativity to the locker room” opinion. In fact Tank’s responses on the Palmer situation seems a lot like what Cedric Benson said when he was asked. There’s been a lot of heat about the number the Bengals new signal caller chose, 14. Andy Dalton just chose his same jersey from college since it was available, you can’t fault him for that choice. But many “old school” Bengals fans feel this as an insult to the Bengals rich history. As I’ve made mention before, you can’t blame Dalton for choosing his number, the blame for the injustice shouldn’t be pointed at the Bengals new franchise Quarterback, but rather the franchise itself.     Recently Vic Carucci of NFL.com caught up with Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Being Carson’s back up for two years in Cincinnati, Fitzpatrick and Palmer became friends and kept in contact after Fitzpatrick’s tenure in Cincinnati ended. When asked to comment on the “Palmer vs Mike Brown” Fitzpatrick replied saying I’ve talked with Carson, but I don’t really want to talk about his business. Mike Brown is still trying to tell everyone he has no plans of trading Quarterback, Carson Palmer. It’s been speculated for a long time that Brown will still deal Palmer; doing one thing and saying another isn’t out of character for Brown anyways.
