The 3-5-1 Cincinnati Bengals play host to the 4-5 Buffalo Bills and the guys at Men in Stripes breaks down the importance of this game.

Shelby, Tim, and Matt get to break down another Bengals lose. Although it has been a little while since they last lost, they already have more losses in 2016 than they had in 2015. You can imagine the guys’ dismay with this season already, and it is only week 11.

The patience with Marvin Lewis is growing thin, but all the guys know that his time is not up in Cincinnati. No, he will not be general manager, but the coaching has been abysmal this season from both the coordinators and head coach. It is something that has held the Bengals back from winning.

Lance McAlister decided to tweet out the Bengals season:

However, Shelby and Matt both think Mr. McAlister is missing the boat on this. It is not to say that the Bengals will do anything, but to say they are done? That may be taking it too far. Shelby thinks they are going to go on a run. Matt isn’t as optimistic but thinks they could at least make a stand.

Breaking down Sunday’s game:

It starts with stopping someone and LeSean McCoy is going to be a difficult player to contain. The Bengals will not have to deal with Sammy Watkins this week, and the Buffalo Bills pass offense will need to be better than they have been to beat the Bengals. Tyrod Taylor is going to be a handful.

The Bengals offense will need to be balanced and get Tyler Eifert and Giovani Bernard involved. Protecting Andy Dalton will be key to moving the ball down the field and keeping the penalties at a minimum will be a must.

So who wins this game? Shelby, Matt, and Tim all agree the Bengals should walk away with a win on Sunday.

Picking the rest of the NFL:

The guys finish up this week with a Marvin Lewis article that Matt wrote this week, who would replace Lewis if his time is up in Cincinnati?

Next week, the guys will break down the Bengals-Bills game and preview the Bengals heading to Baltimore to face the AFC North leader.
