August 20, 2009; Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA; New England Patriots quarterback

The Bengals and Giants are discussing a trade that would send the 2008 9th overall pick, OLB Keith Rivers to New York. This comes in light of a statement by Giants GM Jerry Reese mentioning LB Michael Boley as a candidate to move into the middle linebacker spot, leaving a strong void at the OLB spot. The Bengals currently have two solid OLBs in Manny Lawson, Thomas Howard, and a nice developmental prospect in Dontay Moch.
