Despite the team’s record and his aching elbow, Carson Palmer continues to participate in conditioning drills, another sign that he still hopes to return after the team’s week 11 bye. Whether he returns to a team with the same coaching staff is an increasingly open question, with offensive co-ordinator Bob Bratkowski feeling the fans’ heat and speculation growing that Lewis’ will be the next head to roll. I still believe that, if any coaching changes are made — and clearly some should be — it’s best to wait until after the season, but events could force even owner Mike Brown’s traditionally glacial hand.
