Bengals to Announce “Major Development” Thursday

The Cincinnati Bengals have issued a press release saying they will announce a “major development” regarding the 2009 preseason tomorrow at noon.

Speculation is that the Bengals will confirm rumors that they’ll be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

Update: Yup.

Cue return of happy-go-lucky Chad…

    Former Bengal Willie Anderson announced his retirement today. The Ravens put him on reserved-retired list.

    At least he got to play in the playoffs last year and get a sniff at a Super Bowl.
