Pats Hand Bengals Second Seed, For Now

AUTHOR: david | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: 4 Comments |

Yes, I know, there are seven games left and a lot can happen, but at least for this week, the Cincinnati Bengals are the second seed in the AFC playoff picture, thanks to a patented fourth-quarter comeback by the Colts.

In injury news, RB Cedric Benson hopes to be back next week. Benson suffered a hip injury in the game, but it isn’t believed to be serious. With games against the Raiders, Browns and Lions coming up over the next three weeks, resting him looks like a possibility as well.

Yup. Looks that way. Cincy has won on gambles with Tank Johnson and Cedric Benson, so I suppose they are feeling lucky. Knee jerk reax: Benson’s hip injury may be worse than initially believed. So…um…welcome Larry Johnson. Don’t eff up a good thing.
