After not participating in any official offseason training sessions last year, QB Andy Dalton is happy to finally be participating in his teams’ official offseason workout program:
I walk into the locker room for the first time and I know everybody here rather than walking in and trying to meet everybody. I’m definitely a lot more comfortable now. The biggest thing is I know my schedule. I know when I have to be here and all that stuff. It’s definitely easier coming in this year than last year.
If Dalton could post 3398 passing yards and 20 touchdowns last season with no OTAs or minicamps, it will be exciting to see how well he does with a full NFL offseason, along with OC Jay Gruden opening up the playbook even more.
The Packer Report is reporting that North Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins is likely to fall out of the first round.
